Please note that this piano is currently in its original, un-restored (unplayable) condition, and will not be sold as-is. Restoration work will be performed under contract by Erwin's Piano Restoration (see details below). A new mahogany Steinway model M retails for $70,000 and a full restoration of a vintage Steinway, performed by the factory restoration center, typically costs 85% of a comparable new model. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain a no-compromise restoration for less than 70%!
